After we have designed and completed your website, we need a place for it to live. As with our own residences, this comprises of two parts. An address and an home. The address is referred to as its 'Domain' which must be registered. The home is the computer that the information is stored on and referred to as the host server.
In addition to the actual components of Web Hosting listed below, we take the time to discuss with our clients their actual on-line requirements and explain the process we are about to undertake for them.
Domain Registration
For those clients that do not already have a domain (eg. www.web2day.com.au) we take you through the process of selection and then complete the registration for you.
Server Set Up
We manage our own dedicated server where we host our clients websites and part of our hosting package includes the set up and ongoing management of your website, web logs and statistics, mail server and maintenance.
Email Accounts
It is important to have the correct email address for your business which is why we include this with all hosting. Just as a website is often the first impression your customers get, so is your email address. After all, isn't it better to have 'bob@companyname.com' rather than 'bob@hotmail.com'?
